Back in 1964 Alfred Hitchcock was captured o camera as he peered through the doors of Coronation Street’s Rovers Return pub.

In 2015, the TV Times magazine celebrated its 60th anniversary by displaying 60 photographs of famous people from its archives, some never seen before.  The stars’ images appeared inside and outside the Blue Fin Building on London’s South Bank, opposite the Tate Modern which was in the midst of its extension work.

    • You may never have seen Coronation Street – a very long-running soap opera set in northern England. But it’s certainly not somewhere I would have expected to find Hitchcock
