Gehry Tower at Luma, Arles, France, August 2016
An art and culture centre is under development on the site of old railway warehouses in Arles. A sparkling highlight will be a 56 metre tall stainless steel tower that has been designed by Frank Gehry. The internal structure is well under way and the building should be complete in 2018.

It almost looks like a model of a house under construction and not a real house, cool!

More on this soon too. I like Gehry’s shiny, curvy designs so I hope to see this one when finished.

Me too. I’m hoping to go back every summer to enjoy the photography exhibitions. I’ll have some more photos coming soon as I visited it again today and it has changed considerably in just one week.

That’s awesome! I think they should leave it exactly as it is 🙂 It’s very reminiscent of a piece by Escher!

It reminds me of M. C. Escher’s “Relativity”.

When it is finished the exterior is supposed to represent the brushstrokes of Van Gogh – we will see!
