Great image but a very sad one too, throwing things in the water like that!

How strange, they haven’t gone to spam either
Presumably too drunk to think about that – or maybe careless tourist.
In normal hours it was a very sedate, family friendly square.

I guess, people with big sailingboats are quite “good” at throwing things over board. The beaches here are filld with stuff at spring. Sad 😦

I noticed that two bloggers were put off a bit as they felt the “trash” vibe here – but I more agree with Cee – and the cool and varied capture is brilliant. Your title is fun and the whole shot is so unique – and had me laughing a bit.

I’m pleased to hear your comment 🙂 I’m quite a critical person sometimes (often!) but this didn’t upset me too much. It was very minor compared with the litter and disruption that i see in London or Paris on a Sunday morning. And someone (maybe teh ame people) had given the fountain a smart hat: https://travelwithintent.com/2016/08/30/fountain-place-republique-arles-hat/

I know what you mean But it appealed to my photography eye – especially I was on a negative space theme that morning

You’re right there. It’s an immaculate square with fantastic old buildings. But it was soon tidied up again

Anyhow, Debbie, it shouldn’t happen… people shall take care of their own garbage… any type of rubbish… Pity some humans have difficulties to learn…
