The Rose Window in St Alban’s Abbey, Hertfordshire, March 2017
This window in the north transept was originally installed in more prosaic church days, with the shape of a graceful rose but the seriousness of plain glass. Fortunately for those of us who adore colour, this striking design was created by Alan Younger and was unveiled in 1989 by Diana, Princess of Wales.

Well you know me and stained glass – truly lovely Debbie. They are never easy things to photograph!

Glad you enjoyed it Jude.
Cropped this one quite a bit and was very pleased at the lack of noise on high ISO

I love Rosettas. I would never think of one for this theme, but it is great thinking Debbie. Thank you very much for this beauty.

I think I was stretching the theme a bit! But I couldn’t think of anything else for winding except the wonderful Guggenheim, but I didn’t want to overdose people! (I’ve done that with Venetian costumes 😉 )
I’m looking forward to seeing some of your Venice
