Great photos of Lisbon’s Santa Justa lift. I didn’t go up this year when I visited Lisbon in September, but I went up last year.

I didn’t go up this time either. But I still fell in love with Lisbon more than ever. I really didn’t want to come home

Thank you! It goes back to my “Look Up Look Down” days

ahhhh – I remember those days well – and we bonded during those challenges – eh? a good bunch of us.
and side note on that – I Like the way you patiently gave it that challenge a chance to re-blossom – I know you also had to pause for health and travel reasons (rights?) but I think you showed a good example of working with something and then knowing when to lay it to rest – hm

When I saw your first image I hoped you would feature that interesting tower in the distance …and you did:) Beautiful iron work on the balcony part. Here is mine

thanks for showing these Debbie – hubby & I never made it to that elevation – the ups and downs of Lisbon’s hills was hard enough for one of us!
