The Pichi & Avo duo are artists hailing from Valencia, Spain, who united their artistic talents in 2007. Together, they bring their flourishing version of classic art to our streets in the form of giant murals. Painting, sculpture and literature are combined for our enjoyment.
The piece above adorns the Bowery Graffiti Wall in Manhattan. This wall has an artistic history dating back to the 1980s when Keith Haring and Juan Dubose first painted it. More recently, it has become the location for works commissioned from well known street artists, including Swoon, Shepard Fairey, Os Gemeos, Aiko, JR, Maya Hayuk. Michi & Avo joined the list in January 2017.

How beautiful . . . . . living here in the Algarve and then discovering the world of photography blogging has transformed how I feel about #streetart. Now a passion 🙂
