Thanks to everyone who brought us some rows, rows and rowing last week. Apologies for my delay in visiting due to being away all week.
I’ll catch up before next Sunday, though, when the theme will be dazzle.
Other forthcoming themes are listed here, and to see previous weeks of this challenge, click here

Nice to meet you! I love your photos, and I’m happy to join in the challenge. I added a link to my post, but don’t see the pingback. Perhaps I simply didn’t give it enough time. Anyway, here’s mine: https://encoreoldpianos.net/2019/04/02/weekly-photo-challenge-vertical/

If you like pillars like I (and I see you do:) you always have some in your archives. Do you remember where this is in Athens – I don’t recognized it. Here’s mine – also pillars framing a door. Have a great week!

This was a renovated building (1952–1956) in the Ancient Agora, down below the Acropolis (but then everything is!) I hadn’t visited it before either – a massive site and well worth a visit

The columns are magnificent and I like the way you photographed them with a vanishing point to the side. — I’ve just returned from a weekend of 8 hours of training on Saturday and 8 again today. But this morning I nipped out my room with my camera and found this very vertical structure: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/03/31/modern-arcade/

That looks good in B&W, Debbie. I have a little different slant on “vertical” today. Happy Sunday.

Glad to say that these are still vertical in spite of recent winds and storms
