Lifeboats

Lifeboats at Eyemouth, April 2019

Established in 1876, Eyemouth Lifeboat Station is located in Gunsgreen Quay in Eyemouth. The RNLI is a charity and is independent of Coastguard and government. Since it was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives.

  1. Beautiful calm reflections – which I’m sure isn’t always the case 😉 Apart from the lamp posts and the communications antennae this could have been taken many years ago. It has a timeless feel.

  2. In Southern part of India you still find these house boats functioning and they are very important part of Tourism. Somewhat you find In northern most part Of India, Kashmir also. Hope one day you get a chance to travel there also.
