This patch to the side of the Temperate House had gone delightfully wild since my last visit. In May, I was delighted by the cherry blossom and tulip buds, and this time I enjoyed it just as much with this hint of carefree wilderness.

Wonderful choice, Debbie. I love Chihuly. His work looks perfect in a museum as well as in the wild.

I love Chihuly à la Dr. Seuss: I like Chihuly in the park, I like Chihuly in the dark. I like Chihuly in the wild, I like Chihuly with a child. I like him here, I like him there, I like Chihuly everywhere. 🙂
I saw an installation in the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens that included sculptures like these. It was wonderful during the day as well as when illuminated at night.
