John Lennon and the Wall of Fame, Liverpool, July 2019

This wall recognises all 1801 bands that performed at the Cavern Club between 1957 and 1973, plus some of the artists that performed there after its reopening in 1984. The club of the same name that you can see behind Lennon is not the original club and has nothing to do with the wall.

And the Beatles’ fame spread far and wide.
