Wonderful views and a lot of difference to the docks in the fifties when I grew up. I am sure my two docker uncles could never imagined it looking like that now.

I remember it from the 1950s too, when we were new to London from rural Yorkshire, watching the Oxford and Cambridge boat race from somewhere near here. Yes it is … slightly different

Yes, I go there quite a bit for business meetings, but it’s good to just have a mooch and try to imagine its past. I wandered down to the river on this night wander and it’s quite hard to get your bearings. Especially as its positioned at such a bendy section of the Thames
