Lines galore! They call to me and my camera, and this scene caught my eye for more than its rigid lines. The appeal lay in the elements of daily life that pop out and break the lines.

Furthermore, I love the splash of aqua on some of the lines in this apartment block on Kruisplein, and the zebra with black on black stripes is a real star. This fellow is a reminder of when the animals from the nearby zoo roamed the streets freely after severe bombing during World War 2.

Fascinating line display. Interesting there are no diagonals except nature’s trees (that I see). It could be a setting for “find the hidden circles” 🙂
