Cleaning the ancient walls in Cathedral Close, Winchester, October 2020
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

It’s all about the light. My Six Words are about lens distortion and needed a lot more than six words explanation:

Yes, us photographers talk a lot about light but this one shows why 🙂 And I enjoyed your more-than-six-word explanation. Have a good weekend.

Yes. Whenever I head out early I hope to see mist, but steam did the job perfectly that morning 🙂

I love this, the ancient walls, the modern equipment (in signal colours), the steamy/misty atmosphere. Did you know they would be there? Your capture of this is great.

No, it was a wonderful surprise. I had abandoned a colleague in a coffee shop and skipped my breakfast to explore. And it was worth it, as this guy was just a 10 minute walk from breakfast!

I’ve never seen anything like it before either. But I probably wouldn’t have paid so much attention if it hadn’t been for the sun illuminating the steam.

I can’t cope with both of you in Winchester! 🙂 🙂 Fascinating photos you’ve come up with, Debs. Rare gems, I would say. I wonder if they’re available for a jaunt to Portugal. I could use a little autumn cleaning.

I’m home again now but there will be more photos to come! It was a very brief visit for me, for a meeting. Shame I freezed all the peripheries of the guy I was meeting with though – he fancied a warm coffee inside, whereas I only do outside!! Needless to say, I also managed a run around town with my camera 🙂
