Hi Debbie, a great perspective! I think the statue of Alfred the Great looks even more powerful than it might be. Although I think it is already very big! A great photo!

Yes, it’s very tall, but positioned so that you can see it quite well from the ground (even short me) but still have to look up to his dominance
