Several of the doors on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch have received attractive artistic additions.
This first one, Unify’s teddy bear, has been there quite some time and it still gives me a smile.

A little further along the road there are two great doors, the first sporting another Unify work, and the other one featuring a piece by Mary Lou Faure.

Interesting you speak about Unify and Marie Lou Faure – am suspecting they are well known where you live ? What are these known for (sorry I have become a know-nothing-about-art-trends person)…?

Unify is certainly a well known street artist – often portraying political and social messages. The bear with balloon painting is a classic Unify. You will probably find his online shop interesting – I like the pieces on natural wood. And there is a canvas version of bear and ballon with a young child hugging the bear, https://www.unifyartist.com/store/Hug-a-Bear-On-Canvas-p207587588 Faure is less familiar to me, but she produces a lot of bright and bold pieces.

Quite a great variety, Debbie. I always enjoy yours and we don’t have anything like that around here.

It’s interesting keeping a record of the places as the art changes isn’t it.
