Where did I travel this week?

I hopped over to Paris and sailed down south to Provence, falling in love with a floating bookshop and relaxing in the beautiful countryside. Then it was a drive down to Marseille and along the coast to Sanary-Sur-Mer, back to a part of France where I spent a month or two back in my student days.

And how did I manage to escape lockdown?

I read a book!

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.

I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.

To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

      • I cherish my smartphone and ear piece to go with it. I usually listen to some kind of book or podcast even in the supermarket (especially in the supermaret!! — I used to find it quite funny to listen to couples going shopping together but it’s getting repetitive).

        • And I’ve just found a hoard of free listens! Audible.com have many free during lockdown, aimed at children, but there are classics there that I’ve never read. And also a choice of languages.

    • I very much enjoyed your quiz, Margaret. Glad your library is operating. Though click and collect isn’t as good as browsing the shelves. I have added my local bookshop to my regular walk – I spot something new every time I peer at their window display.

      • Ours is sort of open. You can’t browse, but you can order, pay and go and stand on the step to collect. Off there this morning – when I’ve de-iced the car.
