It’s Friday, and time for a flashback to an old Travel with Intent post from 2014:
Mushrooming Toadstools!

Looking upwards in Shoreditch, I spied some very unusual sculptures, perched on rooftops and clinging onto walls.

Shoreditch, London, 2013-2014
Theses unusual works were the work of Christiaan Nagel, a London-based artist and musician who hails initially from Durban in South Africa. The pieces varied widely in size and colour, but they shared their provenance – all made from insulating material.

They’re certainly bright and different. Does he also have toadying mushrooms? 🙂 That would have a much different meaning in Regency England!
