
And Kew Gardens have some mini green roofs on display as one of the plantscapes in their current Secret World of Plants displays. They are great fun to investigate from ground level, with a few added holes provided for a different angle of view.

perhaps you could drop a hint! They are a great idea on a flat roof as they absorb water and give added protection, according to the Kew gardener

We did when they were building it, but they ignored us and now are no longer talking to us. I regularly see them climbing out the bedroom window though to clear it off water and leaves!! If only . . . . . .
