Don’t know the origin of those tiles but I was there this morning and was going to submit a picture of the decorative tiles which sit underneath that didn’t show up in your picture as Missing but thought that might be a bit confusing😂 so here’s mine for today https://alondonmiscellany.wordpress.com/2021/07/04/missing/

The longer you leave it the busier London will get…
Get off at City Thameslink and you’re on Fleet Street. And St paul’s right there too. Now allows photography inside and gives you and wheels free entry. 🙂 🙂

Yes. The missing parts made in interesting for my camera. But I would have loved to see the full version. A great reminder of what the street used to look like.

Actually, I’m scratching more this morning than I was yesterday. I’m about to head out this morning but to a different location on the shoreline. Hopefully the most I mosquitoes won’t be so bad there.
