The Old Vic (opened 1818), London, July 2021
If you like the look of the Old Vic, Bagdad Cafe is on, in theatre, until 21 August 2021. And if you can’t get there, or just don’t want to attend in person, you can view live at home (via Zoom) from 25 to 28 August 2021.
Welcome to One Word Sunday. It is the start of a new month but an old theme: over to all of you to join the challenge with your own old / older / oldest post.
To join the challenge, please use pingback by putting a link in your post to the URL of this post, allowing others to have the opportunity to visit and join the challenge. Then come back here and leave us a comment.
If you have any problems with linking via pingback, just add your own URL into your comment.
It also helps us find you in the WordPress Reader, if you use etc tags OWS and OneWordSunday.
Thanks to everyone who gave us count last week. We had a great mix of interpretations, some lordly, some numeric and some just countless.
Next week’s theme will be reflection.
Other forthcoming themes are listed here, and to see previous weeks of this challenge, click here

Hi! Your Old Vic photo is a great one for this challenge. It literally says old. I used photos of Angor Thom and Angor Wat for an old and older response.

Haha. I was just on your site from the reader and called it doubly old myself. Clearly a great term.
And a great image too

And one of the good things about the pandemic is that art has become available internationally, be at theatre on screen or a virtual stroll around an art gallery.

How life has changed since Covid, Debs! Bagdad Cafe sounds great and I’m very tempted to get tickets on Zoom. Hopefully the new laptop will be better suited to cope with that. Happy Sunday!

I’m not sure I’m ready to go in person so I’m also tempted to watch at home. You can always plug your laptop into the telly and invite friends round
The new normal!!

I wanted to find that one but I have been cleaning out. There used to be a way where you could go from first to last in posts but I couldn’t do it 😦

It’s very hard to find that way of editing now. I try to keep that tab pinned for ready access. This link might get you there: https://xxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-admin/edit.php?orderby=date&order=desc&s&post_status=all&post_type=post&action=-1&m=0&cat=0&post_format&paged=1&action2=-1 if you replace xxxx with your site.com
