Yes, although I’ve see some of elsewhere I do think of them as a very British thing. They seem to have developed from the old wheeled bathing huts that allowed people to change and swim in privacy. And influenced by old fisherman huts too. They are still incredibly popular with long waiting lists to get a council run one and high prices paid to buy private ones.

That’s fun. I find the beach huts so interesting. I don’t think we have anything like that in the US, at least not anywhere I’ve ever been.
