Great aerial views. Did you take these?

Yes. I had arrived in Ragusa new town by train, and you then walk down and up to the beautiful old town (one of the locations used in filming the Montalbano tv series). These were taken while I steadied my giddy head for endless flights of stairs heading down.

I may have a few questions for you, I’m not ready yet hopefully spring 2023

Oh yes, do ask when you’re ready. I did the east coast last year, and then Palermo and the Belice valley this year. Next year I’ll be in Trapani for the Easter celebrations, and will probably add something else to that.

I’m sure they’re as good, Sue, just different. Did you walk across from new to old town? It was a slow walk in the heat!

No, not a chance with my failing muscles and Uthoff’s (knackered nerve conduction in heat)….which I was very sad about…..

I thought it was in your sprightlier days.
It’s not a great walk anyway – but necessary if you arrive by train

It certainly is and it makes the idea of walking across to the other hill quite daunting
