Artful but an ominous face – glad I do not have to talk to this one:) Have a lovely week, Debbie!

Looks like a plastic surgeon’s dream! 🙂 It’s probably no surprise that I went in a very different way. 🙂

It is a bit hard to see. Not exactly kind treatment of the face.

I love his work. I think there was a plan to have a lot more of these dotted about Canary Wharf but nobody was willing to foot the bill. https://alondonmiscellany.wordpress.com/2022/11/20/face/

It was certainly striking. Reminded me of the work of Jaume Plensa.

No outdoor exhibition that O know of but I think he has something in the permanent collection at the British Museum. He has been in Venice this year and he’s a currently in China.

Took me a while to recognise it as a face 🙂 Interesting piece.

It strikes me as ugly, but it is very striking against that backdrop. Being boring I would like it much better without the shapes but I’m sure there’s a point to them. Can you see into them, Debs?

I think I’d have preferred it without the shapes too.

It was a very short display. I think it was removed in April.

Interesting click.
Wondering why half of the face is covered with rectangular frames.
