Mosaics representing cotton picking at
Pakhtakor station in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, September 2022

Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

I’m glad that worked so well. I wanted everyone to be able to spot the tiles through the trains.

Thanks Alice. I was so pleased to be able to take phots here. It used to be banned as the stations are not just highly decorated, they are also highly solidly built, so that they can act as bunkers during war

The shot with the moving train is amazing – the pattern still being visible through the windows.
I’ve changed the title of my sixer literally the moment I hit “send” – https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2023/01/07/guarding-the-fields-is-not-fun/

Yes. That’s my favourite. I’m amazed it stayed so clear through the moving train.

Beautiful Shots Debbie! Especially with the pattern being visible through the train! I wouldn’t have known that the patterns are depicting cotton if you didn’t mention it 😀

As others have said, murals and train at speed….what’s not to love! My kind of fun with shutter speed! Here’s my comment for the day: https://suejudd.com/2023/01/07/the-image-below-does-not-apply/

Yes, you’d have enjoyed it down there, Sue. And 1/15 sec got that blurred train with clear tiles

I used to find 1/15th was about as far as I could push it….
