The storks are the perfect accent. I also love the shadow spikey thing that looks like a palm leaf.

I loved Bukhara, my favourite of the Uzbek cities we visited. But I’d never thought of processing my images in B&W, as I associate the country so much with colour. However you’ve demonstrated how effective that treatment can be on these more simple structures, emphasising the texture of the brickwork.

I loved it too – so real, I felt I was stepping back in time. But I think some of that may be lost as it gets more and more touristy.

These b & w photos are so pretty. Lack of color, with only shading and light, tells a different story.
