Six of my images on display at Lauderdale House, 19 July – 14 August 2023
Do come along to see this exhibition if you’re in the area. Six of my photos feature in the exhibition and I will be at the Private View on 19 July, 19:30-21:00 and all are welcome – no tickets required.
Full details can be found here.
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally – tweet, instagram, flickr, etc. with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS.

Congrats on the exhibition. Pic No4 looks like the lane behind Brick Lane / off Pedley St.

Congratulations on your exhibition – sadly I am in Devon next week – I hope it’s a great success, I am sure it will be. Exciting images as always – mine are just in the garden for My 6WS post : https://carylbeach.art/2023/07/15/tints-of-blue-in-the-garden/

Congratulations, all fantastic images! The B&W ones from Cuba appeals to me a lot, as do the Tokyo and London shots and the kids in Uzbekistan (? Khiva maybe, as your first one appears to me to be from there – and I love that one too btw!)

You’re very close on the locations. The camel is Bukhara, the cleaners are Samarkand and the children are Tashkent.
The Cuba one is from a few years back and is one of my favourites – partly because it took hours to a) improve my panning and b) get the right car in the right place!

I love the Cuban car. It’s a superb shot. And congratulations/well done for being featured at this exhibition!
I’m afraid I’ll make an exhibition of myself this afternoon: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2023/07/15/red-dresses-on-the-streets-today/
I’m lying: I look forward to make an exhibtion of myself!

Only a few centimetres so I felt safe taking the photo rather calling paramedics!
Glad you like the Cuba one, it’s one of my favourites.
And happy exhibiting later today.
