Glad you like it, Brian. I wanted to capture the emptiness of this new town. I am told that building is supposed to be a theatre, though it looks more like an abandoned multi-storey car park. I’m hoping to see a livelier version of this town in a couple of months when it hosts a photo festival.
This is one of the new towns built to replace those destroyed in the Belice Valley earthquake. The quietness is partly due to lack of inhabitants – by the time the towns were built many had emigrated.
