Cycling in Berlin

The work of Gutface, Hackesche Höfe, Berlin, as seen in February 2023

The Estonian artist, Gutface ,aka Ingmar Jarve, expressed his delight at painting in this courtyard in Berlin on his Instagram post I June 2022:  “had a chance to paint in the cool and very heavily art filled local courtyard where …. I sadly had to paint over @srpapachango work, which was so good and well made, sry bro. But it was a blast and filled with fun moments :)”

    • It’s what happens in street art. Though some artists are so respected they get to keep theirs in place for years. In this courtyard there are a few that never get painted over, including a couple by Osch. Next Monday I’ll show what replaced this cycle mural!
