David Breuer-Weiil’s Reflection, outside Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth Line station, Dean Street, London, February 2024
You can see my first encounter with Breuer-Weil’s work here.
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS. You’ll find me on Instagram @travel_travel_with_intent and @dsmythphoto

I love how the building pattern also reflects like the upside down pattern.

I like that the decoration on the left almost appears to be a reflection too. Love the title.

A perfect response, Brian – I love your chosen sculpture. A bit more cheerful than my very serious-looking wrinkly man!

Thank you ever so much 🥰
I have to agree wholeheartedly Debbie, they are quite wrinkly

Like the contrast of the wall patterns against the rugged texture of the sculpture. I love his stuff. I think this is the smallest piece I’ve seen unless it’s a copy. A lot of his work is enormous. Hope you had a great time in Japan? https://alondonmiscellany.wordpress.com/2024/05/11/whats-she-holding-its-a-guvnor/

Yes, I had a great trip, thanks
And yes this is much more “delicate” than others that I’ve seen. I wonder if it was commissioned for this spot and a more manageable size was requested

First I thought it was a reflection, but it´s not 🙂

I know what you mean – I think its position in front of glass adds to that feeling, but I think its wiggle edges give that reflection feeling.

ooh this plays with the eyes doesn’t it

Yes, I think the rough edges make it less real somehow
