Tower of London and Tower Bridge from Horizon 22, London, July 2024

Millennium Bridge to Hungerford Bridge plus London Eye, London, July 2024
The weather was grey and wet, so these shots are taken through rain-spattered windows and look best in black and white. These images were taken just a week or two ago even though they have a rather vintage look.
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS. You’ll find me on Instagram @travel_travel_with_intent and @dsmythphoto

Dear Debbie
London from above is undoubtedly interesting, and London can also be fascinating from a much lower standpoint. We tried taking pictures from the Millennium Bridge

Wow! Beautiful pics. Great choice to have them black and white – so atmospheric. I had no idea that Horizon 22 was higher than the Shard. Very interesting. Matt 🙂

Surprising isn’t it. The viewing point at Horizon 22 is 10 meters higher than the viewing pit at the Shard. Of course the Shard does have its narrow pointy bits reaching above the viewing point.

Great views of famous real estate. My featured vehicle would look tiny from that height: https://fakeflamenco.com/2024/08/03/planters-drives-away-with-another-post/

Great views – I especially like the one looking down on Tower Bridge. Did you book very far in advance? We’ve been thinking of going but not got around to it yet.

I guess your 6WS for today does rather represent our
“summer” weather this year. As its also been rather humid of late I thought this was an appropriate contribution: https://davidoakes-images.com/2024/08/03/6ws-6-word-saturday-challenge-16/

Yes, it really captures 2024 summer. And it is looking that again at the moment.
I love your Kew shot – wonderful light (cant my comment to go through on your site today)
