A lost welly outside the National History Museum, London
Now over to all of you. Do come and join us in our Saturday six-word musings.
I’ll admit that many of us openly break the numeric rule and share far more words (all excellent of course!) so the key rule is to have a title of six words – and then create around that the post that you desire! Perhaps in bunches of 6 words if you’re feeling inspired.
To join the challenge, please put a link in your post to the URL of this post. Then come back here and leave us a comment. If you have any problems with linking, just put your own URL into the comment. And do feel free to socialise digitally with the hashtags #SixWordSaturday and #6WS. You’ll find me on Instagram @travel_travel_with_intent and @dsmythphoto

I always wonder how you can not notice a missing shoe or boot. Makes a good photo, though. 😉. We even got rain last night, although not enough to need rain boots. It was definitely welcome!!

I keep wondering whether it fell out of a bag or slipped off a foot. If the latter – how did they keep on walking? Of if they were carried wouldn’t they notice the boot missing once both feet hit the ground? Or was it an unloved boot? Abandoned on purpose? The cruel options are endless. The situation moved me to tears … kind of: https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2025/04/19/a-glorious-reveal-during-april-showers/

Will the wellie ever get reunited with its mate? How could this happen? Who was the kind soul who left it where it could be found and not fill with water?
There are always questions in this life
Just did a one word switch this week Debbie 😁
