Thanks David. It felt a bit like that. This was a very rundown rooftop bar on the once top class hotel where Hemingway lived and wrote before buying his own house on Cuba. When the storm arrived the whole place felt like a muddled dream.

Havana had deteriorated so much in the 9 years since my previous visit that much of it felt surreal.
