If you have any problems with linking via pingback, just add your own URL into your comment.

Thanks to everyone who shared all things white last week. It seems there are three main occurrences of white – religion, nature and architecture.
Special thanks go to David for his gentle and beautiful image of white nature and to Ritva for her action shot of religion.
If you didn’t have chance to check out everyone’s offerings, the links are below. Why not grab a coffee now and go blog exploring.

Next week’s theme will be blue.
Other forthcoming themes are listed here, and to see previous weeks of this challenge, click here

Took me a minute to find the cats, and they were cute, and then the little fluffy dog was, too. 🙂

Definitely the cats for me. Because … cats. 😄 The light in the photo helps, too.

Cuba… I was expecting Street Dogs. Love the dog in the doorway 🙂 I have gone seasonal, or anticipating the season: https://davidoakes-images.com/2026/09/06/one-word-sunday-challenge-animal/

It’s an age since I joined in Debbie. But here I am, breaking the rules, as usual: https://margaret21.com/2026/09/06/eternal-animals/. I love your domestic scenes, proving that pets are simply family friends, the world over.

Great to have you here, Margaret.
Yes, that’s true. And sometimes food 😢 but most of them in Havana were too scrawny to serve that purpose.

Oh dear. But you found attractive and well-loved pets-as-friends.

Thanks Dawn. Little glimpses of life. The woman shows the sort of small private business that has popped up since relaxation of rules

If you don’t mind me asking, what rules specifically, were relaxed that she couldn’t have this business before?

There’s a lot going on in each of these photos, Debbie, and they give two perhaps poignant glimpses of life there. I particularly like the contrast between dark and light in the first shot and of looking past the less attractive to the warmth and light farther in.

That’s a very good point, Janet. The locals must have learned to look beyond to stay sane.
