The Abbey in my home town was looking particularly grand in the Spring sunlight today. I have to admit that although it is known locally as “the abbey”, its official name is the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Alban, since it became a cathedral in 1877. Its 84 metre long nave is the longest of any cathedral in England, and it is the second longest cathedral in the UK after Winchester.
I think I’d like to have a walk there. 😉 The first photo is the best. Cheers.
