I have my favourite haunts in Barcelona and don’t often take the time to head to this part of town. But a delicious lunch took me this way (more of that another time) and a sunny afternoon encouraged me to head up to the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya to enjoy the views.
In the foreground is the top of the Cascades, the Font Màgica lies just beyond that, and high on the hill beyond, jut a little hazy, stands Tibidabo.
Looking back up, you get a better view of the Cascades, with the impressive Museu commandeering the hill behind.
That last picture is my favourite – and Barcelona’s a great city too #bwphotoproject

Such stunning photos and I love the waterfall capture in your second shot, it looks stunning in B&W
Your first photo has such a great sense of perspective and balance too, you notice that in the Cityscape photo which you wouldn’t if you were on the ground.
Barcelona is a beautiful city and I think the Italian architecture is so gorgeous. These photos have reminded me how much I love Italy!
Great captures

I have to agree-my favorite is the second one. The water fall and that magnificent building are grand.

Is I think Madrid have suffered the highest temperatures we’ve had in 30 years ; although it is true that in Barcelona for less calos . The sea help. It’s the only thing missing from Madrid.

I agree! I love Madrid anyway, but I did enjoy a stroll along the seafront in Barcelona this afternoon!
Home now in a rather more chilly England 😦

Wow, I have never seen this museum, falls, or those columns. But I only had 3 days in Barcelona. Where exactly is the art museum? Nice photos.

It’s up on the hill near the Olympic arena. Has to be on your list for your next visit!
