Gorgeous! You inspired me to look at the one or two clumps we have in the garden here…very tight and unopened at present…maybe in a day or three….so perhaps I do a series!

Another beautiful shot of snowdrops. I just visited another post featuring them but they’re so beautiful that I don’t mind at all. 🙂 I’ll miss seeing them this spring.

They are little beauties aren’t they. If we weren’t so tightly locked down at the moment, I’d be off to find more of these.

What sort of restrictions do you have? My s-i-l in France has a curfew from 6 pm to 6 am.

We are allowed out once a day for exercise or essential activities but we are supposed to stay local to home. So activity and anti-boredom activities depend on where you live. If you have good walks around you or live near to a National Trust property or similar things aren’t too bad. All but essential shops are closed and no hospitality location a are open. So you can get a takeaway coffee ( as long as you don’t sit down) but that’s it. No visiting anyone and you can exercise with 1 other person. We don’t have a curfew but it wouldn’t matter if we did as there’s nothing to do after 6pm. Have you got many restrictions?

Pretty much just wearing a mask when near others and staying 6′ apart.

Are these your first? We’ve had them since early January in the Frozen North, and just now they’re galloping. I love these little signs of hope so much.

These were the first I found where I could get really close without lying in the mud! There’s nowhere local with masses of snowdrops unfortunately, just a few here and there. Sounds like they prefer your northern temperatures, Margaret

Late March or April is average for our first spring flowers. I think I can wait…
