This “beach bar” is set on one of Castlefield’s canals.  This is a great area to relax in, especially in summer, but “beach” is stretching it a bit.

Instead of deckchairs, colourful benches.

Castlefield is an inner city conservation area based around the Bridgewater and Rochdale canals, with their restored warehouses.  With its many waterside pubs and bars it is a good place to spend a summer’s day or evening.
