This beautiful mural, made of ceramic tiles painted by Brian James in 2011, marks the former site of a Bloomsbury petrol station. The old Ridgmount petrol station dates back to 1926, and has now been redeveloped to include office space and a burger restaurant.
This is just one part of a revitalised Store Street, which is now home to a bookshop, deli, coffee shop, the Building Centre and other small shops.

Brian really has the 1920s travel poster style down pat. Love the biplane in the background too. Wonderful way to commemorate the building’s history. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.
