NoHo Murals in Manchester

These murals decorate the external shutters of NoHo Bar in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.  I haven’t been there at night when the shutters come up, but I understand there is similar wall art inside too.

If you get there to take a look for yourself, spare a minute also for the building itself, a grade II listed with large windows.

  1. Their website says they’re on Stevenson Square. We’ve learned through your blog that steet art abounds there. So murals on roll up doors fit right in. Don’t get all the cultural references except for the one who looks like Twiggy. Really like the silhouette style. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.

  2. It looks much better then the empty shutters. Also the use of color while in the meantime it stays in reality a b&w print but the shutter color is now green, orange or brown. I like it.
