This tiled nature mural in Laguna Beach, California is enhanced by the living nature that surrounds it.
Linked to Monday Mural and White Rabbit Blog Hop: Pink.
The White Rabbit Blog Hop asks all contributors to recommend two blogs they enjoy. As I am also linking this to the Monday Mural, I thought I’d include two of my fellow mural posters.
Firstly Oakland Daily Photo, who hosts the Monday Mural meme. This blog gives us some great photos from Oakland, but its the murals that I particularly enjoy. Click here for one of my favourites.
Secondly, Mancunian Wave, where you’ll find little gems from Manchester, including some great murals. There’s always something new to discover in this great northern England city.
Ooh, this is so cool. Inspired no doubt from the plein air artists of the early 20th century. The eucalyptus in the background is so California. Lovely scene and gorgeous azaleas. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural. And thanks for the plug.

I adore these kind of murals, Debbie. Absolutely lovely and thanks so much for sharing them 🙂
What a great idea to link to two other mural posters – here’s a link to some lovely tiling in my local village of Competa. Each of the panels depict some of the old trades that have been traditional around the village for many years. Even though they are modern tiles, they are really beautiful 🙂

Nice work. Its painted before the tiles were baked ? I know this is a tradition in Spain and Portugal to make those panels of tiles but more with blue colors. Thanks for showing.

I think so. Makes for a more lasting mural than just painting the walls.
