I had a short and very enjoyable trip to Paris the other week. Looking back at the photos, it seems that, business aside, I spent a large part of my time climbing steps: from Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur, to the Eiffel Tower. Shame my figure doesn’t paint the same picture!

How I remember walking up these steps!

My granddaughter took a photo of the stairs in my house and my question was why. After seeing all the stairs in your blog, I can see where they can lead to. Nice.

It’s funny how people can see different things in the same object. It was Cee’s challenge that made me think about steps!

I love the Monmart steps, spent no less than three days going up and down and taking pictures when I was in Paris for the second time! Never climbed up Eiffel Tower though. Was the view worth it?

Yes, definitely! They are adding a glass floor at first level. I went thinking I’d get to see it but it’s not finished yet. Definitely worth a visit when it’s done.

No wonder Parisians are so skinny! They spend a lot of their time going up and down steps. Who needs a Stairmaster? 😉

Indeed. But I obviously need more than a few days to get the benefit!

I love the Montmartre steps – thankfully I only had to make my way down. And I thought I was not going to survive Notre Dame’s towers, but I did! All the way to the top!
