On the Tiles in Fitzrovia

aDSC07308c

I challenge you to walk past this striking 19th century building in Fitzrovia without stopping to stare. Its black and white tiled facade is simply beautiful and is in perfect condition.  In fact, if you look at the Google streetmaps photo you can catch it under renovation.

It is a hotel, the Grange Langham Court; I’ve never stayed but if the inside is half as attractive as the exterior you can’t go too far wrong. And it’s about a 2 minute walk from Oxford Street.

  1. This is stunning — I’ll look out for it on my next visit to London. I particularly like the variation in detail above the second floor windows, stops it being predictable.
