These aren’t the most beautiful of windows, but they are interesting. These windows in Shoreditch are marked with a spacial type of graffiti where the tags are etched into the glass using acid.

Yes it’s a clever way of achieving permanence. At least until another graffitist overwrites with their tag!

these windows have so much personality – and how interesting about he acid-etching into the windows – pretty crazy to hear that.
but these photos remind me of the business life-cycle – and you feel the age on these weathered gems – and whispers of the past with all those layers of black paint around the trim – and the bars on the window above the door add a statement. 🙂
