St Petersburg has a strong reputation for its art galleries and public art displays. The gorgeous glass hues above are part of a large public art piece on the seafront. Reminiscent of a wave in shape, its coloured glass panels vary in colour and tone depending on the weather and the angle of view.
The piece is O Wave by Gordon Huether, an artist who specialises in large scale art and also in glass. Huether was born in Rochester, NY but now lives in California where he has his Napa studio.

What an amazing sculpture! I love the reflections in the glass of the palm trees in the last shot.

It was also fun to view the clouds through teh coloured glass, but it was harder to capture on camera.
