The jolly Michelin man of tyres was born in 1898 and is still recognised around the world. Cleverly, he has changed with the times, even becoming slimmer in our health-conscious era. In 1999 he was voted best logo in the world.

This old sign is above a small garage on Île St-Louis in Paris.

Dear old Bibendum! But I preferred him when he was more roly poly 🙂

He’s cute isn’t he. And you can eat cake, look at him and still feel slim!

I don’t want to sound silly, but I have seen “Michelin man” for the first time in my life. 🙂
