This striking mural in Paris’ Le Marais district, brought back fond memories of Judith Kerr’s perennially-popular The Tiger Who Came To Tea; I loved reading it out loud to my daughter.

“Excuse me but I’m very hungry. Do you think I could eat tea with you?”

Gorgeous tiger and lovely post for OYGIF ~ thanks, ^_^

Wow! So 3-D. Good decision to shoot the people in the corner; adds to the impact of the image!

Pretty dramatic of the tiger to be walking out of the mural. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.

This is a wonderful post … I remember that Tiger who came to Tea … he looked just like this Tiger.
Do they not give the name of the artist on the mural? What a beautiful piece and thank you for sharing it with us.

The tiger appears as if he is ready to leap out from the mural.
