The Parisian Tiger Who Came to Tea

This striking mural in Paris’ Le Marais district, brought back fond memories of Judith Kerr’s perennially-popular The Tiger Who Came To Tea; I loved reading it out loud to my daughter.

“Excuse me but I’m very hungry. Do you think I could eat tea with you?”

“And the tiger drank all the milk in the milk jug and all the tea in the tea pot”

“Thank you for my nice tea. I think I’d better go now”

  1. This is a wonderful post … I remember that Tiger who came to Tea … he looked just like this Tiger.
Do they not give the name of the artist on the mural? What a beautiful piece and thank you for sharing it with us.
