The Good Mother: 155m up, 155m down

The Good Mother stands guard over Marseille from its rocky promontory high above the city.  The views both up and down are spectacular.  The interior is no slacker either, having undergone a major restoration over 7 years, completing in 2008. This is an all-round highlight of any visit to Marseille.
