Mmm, magnets. I could also have called this K for Kitsch!
I don’t believe there’s a tourist destination in the world that doesn’t have magnets on sale. They may be rather tacky on the whole, but they do make me smile.

I love magnets and had my fridge covered with them for years. When we lived in America we travelled through lots of states and always made sure we collected a magnet on the way. I even got my husband to bring ones from states he travelled to for his work.

They certainly make a portable and affordable souvenir. And some demonstrate a sense of humour! But I tired of having my fridge covered with them.

I have a few with photos of places I’ve been (National Parks). It’s fun to remember them.

Magnets! Did you say Magnets!? Oh my goodness, I love them! I once asked people to send me a magnet from where they lived, offered to send some money to cover the cost, but only my sweet buddy Jean in Tyler, Texas sent me a magnet. It is the red/white/blue shape of the state of Texas and says “Don’t Mess With Texas”! It is on my fridge and has been for a long long time! They are fun and amusing and quite nice to start a conversation about! Thanks for this marvelous share! enjoy your weekend!

🙂 One person’s Kitschy is another person’s diamond. I like your magnets. We got rid of ours, Mrs. Jim “said”.
I also like the London ones. Our daughter worked there for almost five years and she took her family. We came quite often, two or three times a year and would stay most times over a month. While there we would take some side trips so we wouldn’t be too big a nuisance. Our trip from Venice (been there before) to Istanbul and the Black Sea and back to Athens was the best. The four-year-old got to come along with her mom.
I tried your travel map, the code wouldn’t post. It only had an arrow like a video. I have been to 28% of the countries but I had forgotten to put Victoria, Australia, on it. Thank you.

We have a small collection on our fridge of magnets we’ve gotten from relatives that have traveled to foreign countries. I wish they had taken us with them instead. Blessings!

That’s a shame – I seem to see them everywhere, but I don’t often buy them.
