Your photo brings back memories. My husband is from Brighton and on my first visit I watched as a man in suit and bowler hat calmly walked onto the beach and stripped off and walked off carrying his clothes in a brief case. Happened to the left of the pier.

About 3 in the afternoon. Just after this I sat outside and had a late lunch – wearing woolly hat, scarf and coat, mind you – and watched the sunset. It was a perfect winter’s day
