The annual Istanbul Street Art Festival has, in the last two years, brought some giant murals to the district of Kadıköy, on the Asian side of the Bosphorus.
This piece is Resistencia by Chilean artist, INTI.

The question remains, resistance to what? The mural is beautiful with interesting layers. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.

I love INTI! I first came across his work when traveling in Tahiti 2014 where he did a piece for the ONO’U Festival in 2014. It so perfectly combined Polynesia and France and how they are intertwined.
I don’t typically post links to my blog in the comment sections of others, but I was so in love with this piece I wanted to share it with you. Hope you like it (and sorry if you don’t)
